Oristano and the Sinis · Beach
Marina di Arborea
A long, uncrowded stretch of coast on the Gulf of Oristano, with pinewood and small dunes.
About the place
The shore runs for several kilometres between pines and dunes, with the S'Ena Arrubia lagoon to the north, where flamingos can be seen. There are free stretches and stretches with beach clubs.
Arborea was founded in 1928 as the centre of a land reclamation scheme and is now known for dairy farming. It makes a handy halfway stop between Casa Katia and Torre dei Corsari.
