The area

What to see around us

Our homes are in two areas: Oristano, with the Sinis and Tharros, and the Costa Verde, with beaches, dunes and old mines. Here is a guide to help you decide where to go.

Oristano and the Sinis

The Sinis, the lagoon, villages and ancient sites around our houses in Oristano.

Beach

Is Arutas

The best-known beach of the Sinis, made of quartz grains that look like grains of rice.

The grains are white, pink and green, and the beach sits between low cliffs. The sea shifts from green to turquoise and gets deep just a few metres from the shore.

Around the San Salvatore area you will find parking, a kiosk, a few restaurants and a motorhome area. The beach is in the marine protected area.
